Highly Responsive to Prayers is the 1st game in the Touhou Project series. It was finished in 1995 and released in 1997 alongside Story of Eastern Wonderland.
The game is unusual in Touhou as it has a completely different gameplay formula compared to the rest of the series. The gameplay resembles Arkanoid, and the game features 20 stages and there is a boss fight every 5 stages.
After stage 5, the game splits off into 2 paths, the Hell Path and the Makai Path. Each path features it's own unique bosses and stages. The game does not feature any dialogue.
Shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine, She has some spirit-power by nature, but lacks training. Her weapon is the mighty Yin-Yang Orb, but her control is somewhat unstable.
But anyway, with her spirit-power, she got quite some skills. Her usual attacks -namely amulet-attacks, spirit-power discharging (霊撃 -Spirit strike-), melee skills- are useless to current enemies.
She's in some trouble.
Currently, she's the only person in the shrine.
